Back to the Academy - High School AU: Blue/Steven

He doesn't even bother to knock, Suzaku opens the door. Gray eyes quickly scan the area.

"Just what happened here?!"

Steven attempts to get up but winces.

Blue still doesn't react. He's basically dead.

"Hey you," Suzaku growls, glaring at Blue. "I heard what you did, any last words?"

Silence. All but silence.
"You do know your sister is the one who kissed him right? And look at the state he's in. He's not going to even react. What's stopping your sister from kissing him again? In fact, his battered and bruised body might garner sympathy for Blue, don't you think?"

"Hmm, nah." He folds his arms. "I think he deserves everything he's got going right now."

Suzaku looks at Steven. "What happened to you?"

Steven points at Blue, annoyed.

"Typical..."

Blue sees dark hair and grey eyes. He's so out of it.
"Scarlet...what did I do wrong? You didn't tell me...what did I do wrong?!"
He's practically crying now.

"Snap out of it, I'm not Scarlet." Suzaku rubs his temples. "Anyway... let me take a look at your ankle." He approaches and upon touching it Steven winches.

"Yeah, looks like you twisted it pretty bad. You should get to a doctor."

Steven moans. "It's not that bad..."

"You at least sprained it, Steven. I'm taking him to the doctor. Tell Daisy for me, will ya?"

Wallace nods.
"Alright Blue." he whispers to him. "I'll help you with your problem if you promise to lay off Steven. Got it?"

"Hey! Put me down!" Steven raises his voice as Suzaku lifts him up.

"Sorry, but it's the only way."

"Can I at least have my glasses?!"

"Sure uhh... where are they?"

Steven sighs. "I don't know... They fell off when I- got tripped."

And Wallace decides to just cook dinner for the entire Oak family.

Now with Steven and Suzaku gone, it was just Blue and Wallace until Daisy arrives.

"Hey I'm home-" She slides off her shoes and comes inside. "Oh hey, guess you decided to make dinner before the cake then huh? Is Steven back yet?

"Suzaku Narukami arrived and he brought Steven to the hospital. Steven had a bad fall after all and hurt himself. Do you think mother and Grandfather will object to curry?"

"Suzaku?" Daisy blinks. "Wow... Poor Steven. I-I hope he's okay. Anyway," She clears her throat. "Curry sounds great. Thank you, Wallace."

Wallace decides to gauge something.
"Suzaku was rather furious someone kissed his sister. He doesn't seem like the type kiss one's sister right?"

"What do you expect from her older brother? He's really protective of her... Wait... Someone kissed Scarlet?!" Daisy turns to her younger brother. "Blue, is that what's wrong?"

"Well Daisy. I think of you as a younger sister. Is there anyone I should threaten?" Wallace winks at her as he prepares the curry. "And as for Blue, young Scarlet kissed him, and then for some reason, she rebuffed him. If I were to guess, she probably even kissed him today."

"How am I supposed to know? Scarlet's really introverted. Now that I think about it, maybe she was getting unwanted attention... Yeah, thinking about it now? She really hate attention."

"Ah, young love." Wallace just chuckles. "Will mother and grandfather be home soon?"

"I'm not sure, you know how grandfather is, working all the time. It's not good for his health."

"I'll bring him some on my way home then." Wallace says.

Soon enough, dinner is ready.
Wallace is waiting for Steven to return. He would also offer some to Suzaku as well.
He sends Steven a text, telling him to invite Suzaku as well as tell Suzaku to bring Scarlet in tow.

"I just wish he'd come home and rest more, he's not exactly young anymore." Daisy sighs. "But I can't do a whole lot to change that."

Meanwhile, Steven wound up getting a cast and being told that it'll need to be on for two weeks. Soon enough, he and Suzaku came back inside the house. Steven keeps his head low.

"I don't think Scarlet's coming," Suzaku slides his hands into his pockets. "I think she's become too anti social."

Blue is still dead to the world.
Wallace sighs.
He texts someone.

Meanwhile, at the Narukami residence, the receiver of Wallace's text arrives.

The person knocks on the door. This person is Delilah Oak.
"Oh Sienna! Are you home?"

It is Scarlet that slides open the door.
"Oh hi. Mom just got back from work, she's taking a shower now. I-is there something you need?"

"My son's best friend has made dinner. Your brother is there. We're inviting your whole family to join us." 

Delilah smiles at Scarlet, looking a lot like her son Blue with that expression.

"Your dad should be home soon right? Its good to see you, though I guess you were over just a week ago."

She pats Scarlet on the back.

"Problably but- you never know with his job when he'll get called away or when he'll be home." The tomboy shrugs.

"But umm, I'll let mom know."
