Scarlet turns to properly face the woman, is she trusting of the situation? Of course not! The Kanto Champion is well aware of what has been going on in Hoenn.

"Tell me more."

"Come with me." she says. "My name is Shelly. And I'm a member of the illustrious Team Aqua. Meet our leader. He will change everything."

So, her suspicions have been confirmed. Following would be suspicious, but- that's why she and Blue are here. Saki is safe with him, so there is nothing to worry about.

"Alright, I will." Scarlet slides her hands into her pockets, stepping down from the rail.

Shelly leads Scarlet to a cave nearby. Inside is a facility. Knocking on an important door, Shelly says
"Leader Archie, there is a new recruit here to be enlightened."

Scarlet is sure to observe her surroundings and remember as much as possible. For the first time, she is being allowed into enemy territory. And this time, she's acting like one of them. This may not be Team Rocket, but she knows better than to screw this all up.

The door slides open, and standing there is a tall muscular man. Looking at him from head to toe, all Scarlet could think of was a classic pirate. "Well hello there!" It takes such a tall man a moment to spot the small and thin Scarlet.

"Sir, this woman seems to share our values. I think she can be of great use to us." Shelly tells him.

"Is she? Tell me pretty, what's your name?"

There is no way Scarlet is revealing and true name.

"Kyoko, Kyoko Yuki."

Archie grins.

"Well I'm Archie, the boss of this cooperation. Tell me, what do you think of this world?"

"Well, it's over populated... and we need to preserve this world."

"Good, good. I like the way you speak. This is a fine young lady here! Are you interested in joining Team Aqua?"

Scarlet nods.

Shelly can't help but grin.

"But Leader, should we not test her to see if she is fitting as well?"

She holds a Pokeball out.

Archie laughs. "HAAAH! But of course."

He folds his arms. "This, I gotta see."

Scarlet gives a single nod.

She's a retired Kanto Champion, she's got this.

And Shelly is absolutely overwhelmed.

"Leader Archie, this woman...she's incredibly powerful. I doubt even the Champion of Hoenn could challenge her."

Archie starts laughing cheerfully.

"I like this girl! Let's make her an Admin!"

Scarlet only stands there, surprised.

What just happened?!

She just joined Team Aqua... Knowingly! She needs to in order to put an end to all of this, but still, it makes her uneasy...

"Do you have your own place to stay?" Shelly asks. "If not, we can clear a room for you."
She looks Scarlet up and down.
"Or if you'd like, you can bunk with me for now."
She's very impressed, but also somewhat wary of the powerhouse who has just joined.
After all, where does such a powerful trainer even come from? Especially with Pokemon from a foreign region.

Scarlet shakes her head.
"No, I've got somewhere to be, thank you."
Now this awkward part... how is she supposed to leave?

"Leader Archie, I am going to return to my quarters."
She bows and leaves.
"Just tell the man by the door that you want to leave and you'll be let outside to return to wherever it is you're staying. Come by again soon."

"Right, will do." Scarlet bows her head, and does as she's directed.

Hoping that by the time she gets back to the Ryokan, that Blue will let her back in.

Blue is currently watching a movie with Saki. Normally Scarlet wouldn't allow it, but Blue always figured the best way to raise a kid was by getting them to learn no fear early and he was watching a spooky film with his baby girl.

Without thinking, Scarlet tries to open the door, but it's locked. Right.. Blue locked her out so she would go out and do something. She begins to knock on the door.

"I did what you want, okay? Let me get back in, you idiot!"

Blue lets her in.
"Oh hey babe. What's up?"
He smooches her on the cheek and goes back to the bed with Saki.
"We're just having daddy daughter movie night."

"Well, I did what you wanted- got in on the scoop of what's happening in Hoenn."

Scarlet undresses and puts on more comfortable attire.

"What about you and- Blue! What did I tell you about what you put on around Saki?!"

"It's healthy for her! She'll never be afraid of anything. Especially not ghosts!"
Saki is on the bed with the Litwick Blue had caught on there previous adventure.
It's smiling happily as the baby is holding it close.

"Do you realize how dangerous it is for her to be with that?!" Scarlet rushes over to Murasaki.

"You remember what Litwick do, don't you?!"

"What? They're friendly." Blue says with a huff.
Saki starts to cry.
"See? You took her away from her friend."
Blue clearly doesn't remember.

Scarlet holds Saki close.

"What?! You don't remember that those things leech at the life energy of those who follow it?! I'm not letting it do that to my baby!"

"Oh come on, it's our Pokemon."

And the Litwick also looks sad.

Saki keeps crying.

Her hands are making grabbing motions toward her friend.

"How can you be sure? How can you be sure it's not going to hurt her? I-I can't let that happen..."

Scarlet shakes her head.

"I'm sorry."
